Terms of Use
The house rules for using thecopytonic.com.
Last updated October 19, 2026
These terms cover your use of thecopytonic.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Who runs the site
thecopytonic.com is run by KLD LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, doing business as The Copy Tonic ("The Copy Tonic" in these terms). You can reach The Copy Tonic at hello@thecopytonic.com.
Using the site
You're welcome to read, share links to and learn from everything here. Please don't copy the site's content to publish it elsewhere, scrape it, or use the site or its forms to send spam or anything unlawful.
Content and ownership
The blog posts, workshop and course descriptions, examples, page design and the martini-glass logo belong to The Copy Tonic. You may quote short passages with a link back to the original page. Anything else needs written permission.
Learning content and results
The blog, examples and teaching on this site are education, not a promise of results. Copywriting principles work differently for every business, offer and audience, and any figures in examples or posts describe particular situations. Your results depend on your own work and circumstances.
Workshops and the course
The workshops and The Copy Tonic Copywriting Course are not on sale yet. Joining the waitlist costs nothing and doesn't commit you to buy. When they open, prices, what's included, access and refunds will be set out before you pay, and those terms will apply to your purchase.
Copywriting services
Prices shown on the Hire me page are starting points. Each project is quoted and agreed in writing before work begins, and that agreement (scope, timing, payment, revisions and ownership of the finished copy) governs the work.
Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, such as social media profiles. The Copy Tonic doesn't control those sites and isn't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
No warranty
The site and its content are provided as they are. The Copy Tonic works to keep them accurate and available, but can't promise that the site will always be error-free or online.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, The Copy Tonic isn't liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or its free content. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can't be limited by law.
Privacy
How the site handles personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them or the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. The new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
